ISET . . . Continuing to Lead
A New First in Endovascular Education:
ISET Live Cases Presented in High Definition
ISET proudly announces that its 2008 live case demonstrations will be presented in high definition. Get a better view of the procedure room and a sharper focus on what counts.
As the first endovascular meeting to offer HD, ISET is building upon its history as a leader in the use of technology to promote education. Cases will be transmitted from Baptist Cardiac & Vascular Institute in Miami, as well as other locations from around the country and abroad.
Other New/Expanded Features for 2008:
More Interactivity
“Bridging the Atlantic through Medical Consensus” will give you a chance to express yourself on various clinical issues via instant polling and see how your opinions compare with those stated by European professionals at the London-based Charing Cross meeting.
An interactive case review session will have you measuring your decision making with that of the experts when you answer a series of "What would you do next?" questions via instant polling.
More Controversy
Unusual, unpredictable and downright disastrous cases take center stage at the first ISET closed-door complications session, during which faculty will talk about specific poor outcomes and what can be learned. Due to the sensitive nature of this session, attendees will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement prior to entry.
“Innovation in the United States: Is it going elsewhere?” This is the question that noted guest speakers and audience members will debate in a town hall-style meeting focused on whether government regulation is stifling scientific investigation within our field and ultimately keeping cutting-edge technology out of the reach of patients.
Experts on Call for You
“Coffee with the Experts” small-group case reviews give you access to ISET faculty with experience in a variety of specific procedures. Come ready to ask questions and deepen your knowledge in these concentrated early-morning sessions.
