TERMS AND CONDITIONS

and conditions carefully. You will be required to indicate your
acceptance of these terms prior to registering. If

here to continue. 1. AMERICANS WITH
DISABILITIES ACT
Exhibitors are responsible for compliance with the Americans
with Disabilities Act of 1992 for their specific booth space.
2. ATTENDANCE IN EXHIBIT HALL/BADGE CONTROL EXHIBIT HALL
Attendance is restricted to qualified exhibitors, those certified
by them, and those covered under the ISET general registration
procedures. The official ISET badge must be worn whenever
an exhibitor is in the Exhibit Hall. Exhibitor badges will
be made available to the official representative for distribution
to exhibitor personnel only. Badges are not to be defaced
by inserting company cards or applying stick-on novelty items.
3. BOOTH CONSTRUCTION
An in-line or perimeter booth is one or more standard 10
x 10 units arranged in a straight line. The maximum height
for an in-line booth is 8’. Each in-line booth will
be provided with an 8’-high back drape with 36”-high
side dividers and drape. Solid wall side dividers higher than
36” will not be allowed.
4. CANCELLATION OR REDUCTION IN SPACE
Requests for cancellation of reserved exhibit space must
be made in writing. No refunds will be allowed for space left
unoccupied during the ISET meeting. Refunds, less a $100 administrative
fee, will be granted on or before December 1, 2002.
5. DISTRIBUTION OF PRODUCT INFORMATION
In accordance with ACCME Guidelines, product information
cannot be distributed at any scientific sessions or in hotel
lobbies. Posters or tabletop exhibits are not permitted immediately
outside or inside the meeting rooms. Distribution of printed
materials by industry or its agents is limited to the exhibitor’s
booth area in the ISET Exhibit Hall. Companies may not display
or demonstrate products, processes, or services, solicit orders,
or distribute advertising materials at any location (within
or outside the Exhibit Hall) other than in their assigned
booth space. Distribution of product information by companies
that are not registered exhibitors will not be allowed.
Note: Door drops at the hotel will not be acceptable without
written permission from ISET management. This rule will be
strictly enforced.
6. EXHIBITOR SERVICE KIT
An Exhibitor Service Kit containing complete show information
and order forms for all show services will be sent to exhibiting
companies by November 20, 2002. All forms should be completed
and mailed in advance of the meeting to ensure that adequate
labor and equipment is available for set-up. Forms will be
included for the following services: labor, material handling,
electricity, furniture rental, signs, rental displays, photography
service, utilities, audio visual, telephone, florist and cleaning.
7. SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS
Exhibitors agree to ship and store their material at their
own risk and expense. Arrangements have been made with Southern
Convention Services to receive and store all shipments for
the ISET meeting up to 30 days prior to exhibitor move-in,
and to deliver all shipments to the appropriate booths on
set-up days. All shipments must be labeled and consigned with
the company name and booth number. Shipments must have all
transportation charges PREPAID and advance shipments must
arrive before January 13, 2003. Shipments sent collect will
not be accepted. All empty and reusable cartons and boxes
must be removed from the Exhibit Hall prior to the meeting
and will be returned at the conclusion of the show. Complete
shipping information will be available in the Exhibitor Service
Kit mailed to exhibitors by November 20, 2002.
8. EXHIBITOR MOVE-IN
The following hours have been scheduled for the installation
of exhibits:
Saturday, January 18, 2003 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, January 19, 2003 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
All crates and packing materials must be off the exhibit
floor and all exhibits must be erected by 3:00 p.m. on January
19, 2003. No trunks, cases, or other packaging materials are
to be left in the exhibit area after installation of the booth,
nor may such materials be brought into the Exhibit Hall during
open exhibit hours.
9. EXHIBIT HOURS
The Exhibit Hall will be open as follows:
Sunday, January 19, 2003 5:30 p.m. – 7:30p.m
Monday, January 20, 2003 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Tuesday, January 21, 2003 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Wednesday, January 22, 2003 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
ISET Management requires all exhibits to remain open, with
representatives in attendance, during the above specified
exhibit hours.
10. EXHIBITOR DISMANTLE AND FREIGHT PICK-UP
The following time has been scheduled for dismantling exhibits:
Wednesday, January 22, 2003 5:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
The following time has been scheduled for dismantling and
freight pick-up:
Thursday, January 23, 2003 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
11. SECURITY
ISET Management will provide 24-hour uniformed security guard
service in the Exhibit Hall beginning with the delivery of
exhibits to the hall through 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January
23, 2003. Neither ISET Management nor the Fontainebleau Hilton
Resort will be held responsible for any loss or damage to
the exhibitor’s property. Exhibitors must take precautions
to protect their property against theft.
12. PHOTOGRAPHING AND VIDEOTAPING
Written permission is required for videotaping and photographing
in the Exhibit Hall. Photographing, videotaping or examining
another exhibit or equipment without permission is prohibited.
13. LIABILITY
Neither ISET, its officers, representatives or employees,
nor the Fontainebleau Hilton Resort and Hotelerama Associates,
Ltd., D/B/A The Fontainebleau Hilton Resort its representatives
or employees, will be responsible for any injury, loss or
damage that may occur to the exhibitor or the exhibitor’s
employees or property from any cause whatsoever, prior, during
or subsequent to the period covered by the exhibit contract.
Each exhibitor must make provisions for safeguarding of his
goods, materials, equipment and display at all times. General
overall guard service will be employed by ISET for the exhibition
period. But providing such guard service shall not be deemed
to affect the non-liability of ISET, the Fontainebleau Hilton
Resort and Hotelerama Associates, Ltd., D/B/A The Fontainebleau
Hilton Resort and Southern Convention Services, or their officers,
representatives and employees. The exhibitor agrees, by signing
the “Exhibit Application/Contract” to insure itself,
at its own expense, against property loss or damage, and against
liability for personal injury and to name ISET, The Society
of Interventional Radiologists as additional named insured.
In case that said premises shall be destroyed by fire or an
act of God or by any cause, or in the case of government intervention
or regulation, military activity, strikes, or any other circumstances
that make it impossible or inadvisable for ISET to hold the
show at the time and place provided in the Exhibit Application/Contract
for exhibit space, then and thereupon the contract shall waive
any claim for damages or compensation, except the prorated
return of the amount paid for space, after deduction of actual
expenses incurred in connection with the show, and there shall
be no further liability on the part of either party. In case
any part of the Exhibit Hall is damaged, or if circumstances
make it impossible for ISET to permit an exhibitor to occupy
the space assigned during any part or the whole of the period
covered, then under such circumstances the exhibitor will
be charged for space only for the period that the space was
or could have been occupied by the exhibitor, and ISET will
release the exhibitor from any and all claims for damages,
which may arise in consequences thereof.
