This evening session, sponsored by Society of Interventional
Radiology, will provide an overview of the latest developments
in practice management for the practicing interventional radiologist.
Sample topics include: critical components of a successful
Interventional Radiology practice, the role of marketing,
reimbursement issues, creating a business plan and building
referrals.

Live Case Demonstrations
As an audience member you will have the opportunity to be a part of the
decision-making process in the procedure room via your responses to interactive
polling and questions from the panel. ISET will feature more than 30 live
case demonstrations from Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute; Cleveland
Clinic; Perth, Australia; Columbia University Hospital; Melbourne, Australia;
and other remote locations. Live cases will demonstrate the most recent
techniques and devices in vascular, cardiac and carotid endovascular therapy.
Guest Panelists
During each session an audience member will be selected
to join the panel to comment on content and interact with the audience
and faculty to ensure that issues that are common to the realities of
every day practice are addressed. Please indicate your interest in participating
as a guest panelist on the registration form.
Wake-up Workshops
The morning workshops depend on input from participants to share questions,
successes and difficulties with colleagues and faculty. Each morning,
pre-general session workshops will focus on some of the newest and most
challenging aspects of vascular intervention in a small group setting.

Proffered Papers/Poster Sessions
Proffered papers and poster sessions offer another opportunity for practitioners
of endovascular medicine to share their experiences and findings with
the endovascular community. ISET 2003 will feature submitted, peer-reviewed
papers from researchers all over the world. The presentation of these
papers will be integrated throughout the program. This is a unique opportunity
to share, communicate and contribute recent advances in the development
of endovascular medicine.
Posters will also be accepted and will be presented during specified
sessions.
