Noninvasive Diagnosis of Endovascular Disease

Noninvasive diagnosis of endovascular disease continues to evolve, enhancing the diagnosis and treatment process. This one-day program will cover all the newest techniques, including venous and carotid imaging, and will be of importance to radiologists, vascular surgeons, neurologists, and technologists. ISET General Session

Monday, January 17-Thursday, January 20

The ISET General Session will cover the most important topics in endovascular medicine, presented by a multidisciplinary faculty of world renowned experts. Physicians involved in the endovascular treatment of vascular disease will benefit from the unmatched program content that ISET offers, including updates on peripheral intervention and thrombolytic therapy, the latest on new devices such as carotid stenting, and the future of drug-eluting stents in the periphery. Unique Educational Features of ISET

Advanced Case Study/Small Group Technique Sessions

Expert faculty will lead small group technique sessions, creating continuity between live cases and lectures presented in the general session and facilitating discussion of individual cases in a more intimate setting.

Poster Session

Investigators will share their current research through submitted, peer-reviewed posters, which will be displayed in a designated area throughout the meeting. Attendees will be able to meet the researchers during the ISET Poster Session.

Innovators’ Forum

The second ISET Innovators’ Forum will provide attendees with the opportunity to attend a showcase of the newest technology that is currently under development, which may have an impact on patient care in the years to come. In 2004, eleven new products were presented to a large audience and reviewed by a panel of renowned experts.

Limited Concurrent Sessions

ISET attendees will be able to broaden their training by choosing among a limited number of concurrent sessions, providing more in-depth coverage of some of today’s evolving therapies.

The Largest Exhibit Hall Dedicated Solely to Endovascular Medicine

Over 70 companies, major manufacturers and start-up companies will be exhibiting in the ISET exhibit hall. Attendees will be able to see and handle all of the newest products on the market, as well as those under development – the next generation of endovascular therapy. Live Case Demonstrations

Live case demonstrations of the newest techniques in endovascular therapy will be broadcast from Baptist Cardiac & Vascular Institute and sites around the world to provide audience members with real-time education in a highly interactive setting.

First-time Trial and Study Results

Current results from new and ongoing U.S. and European trials for new advances in the treatment of cardiovascular disease will be presented throughout the ISET meeting.

ISET Reading Room

ISET is the only meeting offering participants the opportunity to review fluoroscopic images of the live cases immediately following their conclusion using the latest in PAX technology. You will be able to conduct your own Q & A of live ISET cases with your colleagues in the comfortable setting of the ISET Reading Room.
