ACCOMMODATIONS

A limited number of rooms at special ISET rates are available at the Fontainebleau Hilton and a number of Miami Beach hotels. Since January is peak season in Miami Beach and availability is limited, it is recommended that hotel accommodations be made as soon as possible. All hotels for ISET 2005 are oceanfront properties and all are within walking distance to the Fontainebleau Hilton.

The world-famous Fontainebleau Hilton will once again serve as headquarters for ISET. Situated on twenty tropical acres overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the Fontainebleau offers guests a variety of recreational activities including a beautiful pool area and waterfall, state-of-the-art fitness center, windsurfing and parasailing. In addition to serene tropical surroundings, the Fontainebleau offers fun for families with “Cookie”, a giant octopus water play land including a wading pool, river tube ride and 260-foot water slide. TRAVEL

Miami Beach is host to long stretches of pristine beaches, year-round sunshine, world-class dining, unparalleled shopping, and recreational activities to suit every style and taste. January is peak tourist season on Miami Beach. The average temperature during the day in January is 75°F and can drop to as low as 40°F in the evening. Those not accustomed to the powerful South Florida sun should pack plenty of sunscreen!

Getting to the Hotel

Travel times from Miami and Ft. Lauderdale International Airports to ISET hotels are usually 20 and 45 minutes respectively. Taxi and Airport shuttle services are located just outside the baggage claim area of either airport.

Attire

Attire for ISET meetings is business casual. Meeting rooms can be quite cool and because personal comfort levels may vary, we recommend that you bring a sweater or jacket to the sessions. The dress code on Miami Beach is resort wear/casual. A few finer restaurants may require dinner jackets.
