Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, the physician should be able to:
- Describe and apply evidence based medicine in using preventative medicine techniques in the management of cardiovascular disease.
- Apply evidence based medicine criteria in choice o of techniques and devices to be used in the treatment of cardiovascular disease.
- Demonstrate an increased understanding of the similar options for diagnosis and treatment of vascular disease in the coronary and peripheral areas of the cardiovascular system.
- Demonstrate an increased knowledge of the application of improved noninvasive diagnostic techniques for the diagnosis and follow-up of cardiovascular disease.
- Define the advanced techniques used to treat complex cases of chronic total occlusions and below the knee stenosis.
- Implement the utilization of limb salvage techniques for patients with Critical limb ischemia.
- Demonstrate an increased knowledge and implementation of renovascular intervention in the treatment of patients with hypertension.

ISET will be of value to interventional radiologists, vascular surgeons, interventional cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, clinical cardiologists, clinical radiologists, neurologists, internists and others involved in the treatment of cardiovascular disease.
